¡Hola, hola, hola! Como lo prometido es deuda, vengo con la segunda parte de las 48 horas en New York, ya no para contarles los tips de viaje pero ahora como toda buena blogger hablemos de los más bonito del mundo, la moda.
Hello, hello, hello! As promised, I have part two of 48 hours in NY but this time we won’t t be talking about travel, as a good blogger I will talk to you about the most beautiful thing in the world, the fashion.
Alguna vez una amiga tuvo la increíble idea de tener su momento Carrie Bradshaw y andar de turista en tacones, creo que sobra decir que la pobre termino en un Payless comprando lo primero que encontró como a media día para poder continuar con su día, y se preguntaran, ¿donde quedaron los tacones?, pues los queridos tacones quedaron en su mano por el resto del día, ya que el crossbody que llevaba era súper pequeño y desde ese momento, lección aprendida. Así que sin mas preámbulos, les voy a dejar dos looks uno en verano y otro en invierno, ambos de los mas cómodo que existe en la vida porque (a veces), no hay que sacrificar el estilo para poder tener comodidad.
Once upon a time, a good friend of mine decided that she was going to be Carrie Bradshaw walking down New York in heels but she wanted to do touristy things, needles to say, she ended up at Payless buying the first pair of sneakers she found and that was only by noon but it was a MUST DO for her to keep going, and if you are wondering; what happened to the heels?, well they ended up on her hand for the rest of the day as she was wearing a small crossbody and she could not fit them. And from that moment on, it was a lesson learned by everyone. So, without further ado, I will leave you with two different looks, one for the summer and one for winter, both are super comfy because (only sometimes), there’s no need to sacrifice style for comfort.
VERANO EN NUEVA YORK / SUMMER IN NEW YORK
Este look fue de hace ya un par de años, por lo que las piezas exactamente no se si puedan encontrarlas pero el mix es muy fácil de conseguir, y honestamente todo es muy sencillo de conseguir.
This look was a couple of years back so I don’t think you can actually find the exact same pieces but the overall idea is easy to get even with today’s trends.
Sneakers (Steve Madden), Gafas/Sunglasses (Dolce and Gabbanna), Reloj/Watch (Juicy Couture), Blusa/Blouse (Forever 21), Falda/Skirt (Primark), Bolso Tote/Tote Bag (Michael Kors), Collar Dorado/Gold Necklace (Zara).
INVIERNO EN NUEVA YORK/ WINTER IN NEW YORK
Este look lo use para el día de San Patricio, y lo único verde que tenia era el pantalón pero la verdad no quería verme nada festiva porque usualmente usan es esto… y pues creo la imagen se explica sola.
This look was for St. Patrick’s Day and the only green thing I was wearing were the pants and true to be told, I did not want to look festive because they usually dress like this… and well I think it is self-explanatory.
Pero fuera de eso el clima estaba súper frío y esta combinación fue ganadora, no pase nada de frío y ni siquiera les cuento todo lo que camine (aunque ya les conté), y llegue sin cansancio #ganandocomosiempre. Esos sneakers literal son el nuevo amor de mi vida.
Also the weather outside was super cold y this was a winning combination, I wasn’t cold at all and I walked for so looooong (you already know) and I was not tired, those sneakers are literally the new love of my life.
La clave aquí fue llevar calcetas térmicas, ya se que no suena nada sexy pero en Oysho venden unas incre, están negras y bonitas (y los sneakers de Spice Girl lo tapan todo).
The key here was to wear thermic socks, I know is the least sexy thing you could possibly read but there are a few cool ones out there now, I promise! (Plus the Spice Girl sneakers will completely cover them).
